After hiking through the alpine meadows of Alpi di Suisi, I happened upon this hang gliding landing area on my walk home.
TEMPIO DELLA CONCORDIA
This temple was built around 440 BC and then in the 6th Century AD turned into a Christian church. Located in the Valley of Temples in Agrigento, Sicily, this is the most complete of any of the Doric temples in the valley.
JOHN DAY FOSSIL BEDS
This area of the fossil beds is referred to as the painted hills. After driving for hours through the desert, this area did seem like a sort of beautiful oasis.
CHIESA DI SAN VALENTINO
With no windows and no roads leading to this church (1244 AD) located in the middle of a field, they still hold mass here one day a year.
On a road trip in December, on my way to Colorado, I decided to take an 8 hour detour to visit Zion National Park. It's kind of funny (in a wonderful way) to see a place that is usually hot covered in snow.
COLLEGIATA DI SAN GUILIANO
On the eve of my last day in Tuscany, I took a walk.
